About the role

Call Center Specialist The Orthopaedic Center is looking for a highly motivated Call Center Specialist. This opening is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. The Call Center Specialist will answer a high volume of incoming phone calls to the call center in a timely manner. Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written for clear, legible messages. Pleasant, friendly demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and all incoming/outcoming callers. Direct calls appropriately by transferring and/or taking detailed messages. Schedule appointments according to physician profiles. Some insurance/billing. Assist with any other task assigned. The Call Center Specialist must be able to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.
Qualifications: Education required: HS/GED
Experience: Multi-lined phone experience preferred. Customer Service Representative experience preferred. Some insurance/billing experience preferred Additional Skills/Abilities: Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines Outstanding organizational and writing skills Ability to speak clearly and concisely Independent, self-starting and highly motivated Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history
