About the role
- Convert inbound interest into sharp use cases, well-scoped pilots, and commercial agreements
- Own mid-market and enterprise opportunities from first conversation through close, adoption, and expansion
- Conduct exceptional discovery that understands the customer's operating reality, not just their software budget
- Help customers prove value quickly without turning every pilot into bespoke consulting
- Build the materials, operating rhythm, and systems that make the motion repeatable
- Bring customer signal directly into product decisions and identify outbound experiments worth running
- Help determine timing and hiring needs as the GTM function grows
- What They're Looking ForDesire to be a Swiss Army knife in an early-stage company, building the playbook while chasing and closing six-figure deals
- Demonstrated track record of building or materially helping build an early B2B sales motion
- Exceptional discovery skills with ability to make technical products clear to business and technical buyers
- Ability to work credibly with technical founders, engineers, GTM engineers, and revenue leaders
- Strong writing and follow-through with capacity to keep a small team connected to customers
- Judgment to learn and experiment with what works rather than defending how sales "should" work
- Technical curiosity and understanding of technical customers (developer-tools experience helpful but commitment to understanding technical buyers is non-negotiable)
- Shape an entirely new software category with direct influence on product and company direction
- Work in-person in New York with experienced founders and a technically talented team
- Build at the frontier of AI on problems that reshape how products are created, shipped, and brought to market
- Join a truth-seeking, creatively opinionated environment that questions inherited assumptions
- Competitive salary and meaningful equity
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
