About the role
Scale AI, Inc. is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead the design and deployment of agentic AI systems for real-world government environments. You will work on the Public Sector team at the intersection of agentic ML, systems engineering, and applied research to build foundational infrastructure enabling AI to reason, plan, and act at national scale. You will partner with U.S. defense and intelligence agencies, own core architectures, and mentor teams while driving production
