Chief Risk Officer (CRO)
About the Company: State-chartered digital asset bank bridging fiat and crypto for institutional clients IndustryBankingTypeSubsidiary of a Public Company
About the Role: The Company is seeking a Chief Risk Officer to build its risk function from the ground up for a regulated financial institution serving digital asset clients. Responsibilities include translating existing policies into detailed processes and procedures, establishing financial crime and compliance controls, and addressing digital asset risks such as transaction and wallet verification and irreversible on-chain activity. The CRO will work closely with technology teams on the integration and customization of core systems, serve as a primary contact for regulators, and help shape the institution's risk posture as part of its founding leadership team. Candidates should bring a strong risk management background and experience serving as a primary point of contact for regulators. Financial crime and compliance expertise is valuable, while digital asset risk experience or a strong interest in the field is an advantage. The role calls for someone comfortable moving between strategic leadership and detailed, hands-on execution in a startup environment. Functions Finance

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
