Director of Finance And Accounting

Key Responsibilities: Lead accounting operations, financial reporting, general ledger, reconciliations, internal controls, and month-end close. Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, including inventory, WIP, standard costing, and production variances. Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and operational performance reporting. Partner with executive and plant leadership to improve profitability, margins, and operational efficiency. Lead and develop the accounting team while remaining actively involved in daily financial operations. Improve ERP reporting, financial processes, and internal controls. Support continued growth and potential multisite expansion.

Qualifications & Experience: Progressive accounting and finance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally at the Plant Controller, Controller, Director, or senior finance management level, with demonstrated responsibility for accounting operations, financial reporting, and financial performance. Strong technical accounting foundation, including GAAP, financial statements, month-end close, and manufacturing cost accounting. Experience with FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and operational financial analysis. Strong ERP systems and Excel proficiency. Collaborative leadership style with the ability to partner effectively with executive and manufacturing teams. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred: Experience in a publicly traded, private equity-backed, or larger multisite manufacturing organization, with exposure to rigorous financial reporting and internal controls. Experience in electronics, industrial products, precision manufacturing, or other complex manufacturing environments preferredCPA or MBA.
