Production Manager - Grand Format Printing & Logistics Manager

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm (with overtime as needed) This position is responsible for ensuring production commitments are met while balancing quality, efficiency, employee performance, inventory control, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities: Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production personnel while maintaining a culture of accountability, safety, quality, and teamwork. Conduct performance discussions, monitor employee productivity, and address operational issues promptly. Coordinate daily production schedules to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time. Prioritize workflow among printing, finishing, packaging, and shipping operations. Work closely with sales, customer service, and production teams to meet customer deadlines. Crosstrain staff to improve flexibility and reduce production bottlenecks. Promote a positive culture of teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement. Maintain inventory accuracy for printing materials, substrates, hardware, packaging supplies, and finished goods. Monitor inventory levels and recommend purchasing requirements to avoid production delays. Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, reduce waste, increase productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate receiving and shipping records. Develop and implement process improvements within warehouse and production operations. Ensure all products meet company quality standards before shipment or customer pickup. Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions when necessary. Enforce company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment. Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance. Experience working with production scheduling software, inventory systems, shipping platforms, and Microsoft Office preferred. Candidate must be bilingual (fluent in spoken and written English & Spanish). Must be able to lift material/boxes as needed. Must be able to handle the pressure of the sign industry and fulfill a vast array of custom signage jobs in a fast-paced atmosphere and have very good attention to detail.

Qualifications: 3-5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, signage, printing, warehouse, or production operations. Experience leading teams of 5-20 employees preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred or required. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle physical workload. Experience with inventory control and shipping logistics. Knowledge of large-format digital printing, signage, or graphic production a strong plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Forklift experience a plus.
