We specialize in the manufacture and supply of emergency refuge chambers, safe havens, disaster shelters and grow chambers, as well as a range of remote monitoring, tracking and communications technologies that allow full integration in heavy industrial applications. We are seeking a results-driven and hands-on Production Manager to lead our electro-mechanical manufacturing operation. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring safe and efficient assembly of high-quality products, managing workflow, and driving continuous improvement across the production floor. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for quality and team development. This role will be reporting to the Operations Manager. Leadership & Management: Lead a skilled team of technicians in a hands-on manufacturing environment that builds life-saving systems for demanding industrial applications. As Production Manager, you will drive a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement while ensuring production objectives are achieved in alignment with quality, delivery, and business goals. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role. While accountable for overall production performance, you will spend a significant portion of your time on the shop floor supporting technicians, solving problems, improving workflow, and removing barriers that impact safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. You will lead by example, maintain a strong presence within the operation, and foster an environment where employees are engaged, empowered, and focused on achieving results. Participate in recruiting, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and workforce planning activities to build and maintain a high-performing workforce. Support employee recognition, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous development. You will build organizational capability through cross-training, succession planning, skills development, and career growth opportunities while ensuring clear expectations and accountability at all levels of the team. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead organizational change, implement process improvements, and gain employee engagement during periods of growth and operational transformation. You will champion continuous improvement initiatives, leverage operational data to drive decision-making, and collaborate across departments to optimize production performance and overall business results. In addition, you will develop and execute strategies that increase operational capacity, improve scalability, and enhance organizational effectiveness, ensuring the operation is positioned to support MineARC's long-term growth objectives. You will also promote effective labor utilization, resource planning, and cost control initiatives that support operational efficiency and business objectives. Success in this role means building and developing a high-performing team, maintaining a safe and organized workplace, ensuring production priorities remain visible through daily communication and shift huddles, proactively eliminating constraints before they impact customer commitments, and driving measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, productivity, and throughput. The Production Manager is accountable for achieving key operational metrics, including Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, Labor Efficiency, Productivity, Inventory Accuracy, and Cost Performance. Production & Workflow Management Manage daily workshop operations and allocate labor based on production schedules. Assign daily work, adjust labor as production needs change, and communicate schedule risks or changes to management. Prepare production materials, hold shift huddles, and track progress against deadlines. Manage labor utilization, overtime, and production-related expenses to support operational budgets and cost objectives. Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free workshop using 5S and safe work practices. Support internal production meetings and monthly reporting requirements. Technical Leadership Train, coach, and provide support to develop team skills and consistent performance. Troubleshoot production issues involving equipment, materials, processes, and personnel. Promote a strong safety culture, quality-driven mindset, accountability, and continuous improvement. Develop subject-matter expertise across MineARC product lines. Quality Management Monitor workmanship, materials, and processes throughout production to maintain established quality standards. Perform and oversee in-process and final inspections to verify product conformance. Complete and approve quality checklists, inspection records, and production documentation accurately. Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and drive corrective actions. Standards & Operational Support Enforce standard operating procedures, quality management system requirements, and company policies. Balance labor, materials, equipment, and priorities to keep production moving efficiently. Work across departments to meet production targets, resolve constraints, and improve process efficiency. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to perform hands-on production work that may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, and using hand and power tools throughout the shift. Ability and willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions. Ability to work overtime, including weekdays and weekends, when required to support business needs. Ability to travel occasionally to customer locations as required. Join MineARC Systems and lead a team building products that help protect lives around the world. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
