About the Role: The Company is seeking a Director of Business Development to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new client acquisition within the life sciences industry, with a focus on patient access. This role demands a strategic, self-motivated individual with a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly in the context of opening new business and nurturing long-term client partnerships. The Director will be the primary driver of growth, expected to own and execute proactive prospecting, and lead complex sales cycles to build and manage a robust new-business pipeline. Essential functions include demand generation, ecosystem expert profiling, and revenue forecasting. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience in a direct new-business hunting role, ideally within life sciences, pharmaceutical services, or healthcare commercialization, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Candidates for the Director of Business Development position at the company should possess executive-level communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to operate in competitive markets. The role requires a professional with a strong personal selling approach, comfortable with cold outreach, and adept at managing multi-stakeholder sales processes. A background in market access, patient services, or specialty pharmaceuticals is preferred, as is experience in a growth-stage company. The Director will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions and remove barriers to close, and to maintain a high level of integrity and ethical standards. The position is critical to the company's long-term success, and the Director will play a key role in expanding the company's products and services across a broader client base. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
