Tier 3 Data Engineer (CVT - 003)

Job Description: -Help troubleshoot and resolve complex data engineering and software development problems.-Ensure the reliability, performance, scalability, and security of critical production systems and platforms.-Work with a collaborative Kanban data team to manage Tier 3 requests and help build and maintain Cloud software and infrastructure that supports the enterprise.-Implement continuous integration and deployment to development, testing, and production environments.

Required Qualifications: -3+ years of experience in operations support, systems administration, data operations, or technical support.-Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues across applications, infrastructure, or data environments.-Knowledge of data platforms, databases, ETL or data flow processes, and system monitoring tools.-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.-Ability to work independently, prioritize operational issues, and respond effectively in high-tempo environments.-Strong written and verbal communication skills.-Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Engineering field-Ability to obtain Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications: -Experience working in secure, regulated, or classified environments preferred. Knowledge of AWS services, including RDS and S3-Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, or related orchestration tools-Experience designing and implementing real-time data and streaming architectures using Apache Kafka-Experience extending Apache NiFi by writing custom processors, controller services, and utilities using Java.
