Work Environment: The position is based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility, situated in the heart of Fairfax, Virginia.

Our team: -oriented setting fosters collaboration and communication among staff members, encouraging continuous learning and growth. With a regular schedule from Monday to Friday, starting either at 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM, you will have a structured routine that allows for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, identify areas of need, and develop tailored treatment plans. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including exercise regimens, hands-on therapy, and advanced equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility. Monitor patient progress meticulously and adapt treatment regimens as necessary, ensuring that each patient meets their therapeutic goals. Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on effective self-care techniques and the proper use of assistive devices to promote independence. Document all patient interactions, treatments, and evaluations thoroughly to maintain accurate medical records and support quality care. Participate in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, engaging with peer networks, and staying current with industry trends. Patient Population / Client FocusYou will be working with a diverse group of patients ranging from those recovering from surgical interventions to individuals rehabilitating from chronic illnesses or injuries. This role requires a sensitive and adaptive approach to address the unique needs of each individual, helping them regain their functionality and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications: A Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy is required. A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia. A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, ideally within a rehabilitation or home care environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the interdisciplinary health team. Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant software to track patient data and progress. Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a changing healthcare landscape.

Preferred Experience: Experience working in various rehabilitation settings such as outpatient facilities or home health care. Background in successfully managing cases with specific diagnoses, including post-operative care, neurological disorders, or orthopedic conditions.

Compensation and Benefits: The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, complemented by an attractive benefits package.
