About the role

As a Wholesale Broker / Leader, would you like to work for a purely independent Wholesale Broker and MGA who are not backed by high-demanding PE firms expecting constant top-line growth from producers? Would you like to build out an office/team and actually be an integral part of an insurance business that is expanding nationally where you will have genuine access to senior leadership and a voice in the business If so, this could be worth a conversation. I’m working with a privately funded, founder-led Wholesale Broker / MGA that is taking a very different approach to growth. No institutional PE pressure. No short-term exit strategy. Instead, the ambition is to build a long-term, entrepreneurial insurance platform with the right people having a genuine stake in its success. What’s on offer? Build an office, team or specialist vertical around your expertise Develop new insurer markets and capacity Build wholesale distribution within your class of business Work directly with senior management on strategy and growth Help develop new MGA / program opportunities Have genuine influence over the direction of the business Participate in equity / ownership opportunities as you create value Package up to $250k with strong earning potential through commission The business has already established its platform, technology and Lloyd’s capabilities and has ambitious plans to grow towards $50m–$100m GWP over the next few years. Backed by a senior leadership team who have a genuine track record of building high performing insurance businesses Areas of interestI’m keen to speak confidentially with experienced professionals across: Property & Casualty, Excess Casualty, Transportation, Marine / Inland Marine, Energy / Oil & Gas, Financial Lines, Workers’ Compensation and Professional LinesYou could be a Wholesale Broker, Producer, Underwriter, Team Leader or MGA professional. The class of business is less important than your entrepreneurial mindset, relationships and ability to build. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who wants to build something, influence the strategy and potentially own a meaningful part of what they create. If you've ever thought about building your own wholesale/MGA operation but don't want to start completely from scratch, I'd be very interested in speaking with you.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
