About the role
- Manage social media at scale: Oversee hundreds of accounts across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Work with AI agents: Use AI-powered tools and automated workflows to coordinate content creation, publishing, monitoring, and optimization.
- Understand content performance: Study how different formats, hooks, editing styles, captions, and creative approaches perform across audiences, niches, and genres.
- Run experiments: Develop hypotheses, test different creative strategies, analyze results, and apply what you learn.
- Identify patterns: Recognize emerging trends, shifts in audience behavior, and opportunities to improve content distribution.
- Make data-driven decisions: Monitor engagement, retention, watch time, shares, reach, and other performance indicators to understand what works.
- Solve problems independently: Identify operational issues, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of solutions.
- Improve our systems: Help refine how AI agents, content workflows, and social media operations function together.
- Who We're Looking ForYou think about social media differently.
- You don't just know what's trending. You think about why it's trending.
- You understand that the same video might perform exceptionally well on one account and poorly on another. You recognize that an editing style that works for sports content may not work for comedy, music, film, or educational content.
- You appreciate the small details that influence performance, and you're interested in understanding the mechanisms behind them.
- Ideally, you have many of these qualities:
- Exceptional social media intuition: You can look at a piece of content and develop an informed opinion about whether it will perform, who it will resonate with, and why.
- Analytical thinking: You enjoy looking at numbers, identifying patterns, and testing ideas rather than relying entirely on gut feelings.
- Understanding of internet culture: You're familiar with different online communities, content genres, audience behaviors, and platform-specific trends.
- Experience managing accounts: You've grown, operated, or managed social media pages, whether for yourself, clients, businesses, or online communities.
- Comfort with AI and technology: You're excited to use AI agents and learn new tools to accomplish things at unprecedented scale. Experience is valuable, but curiosity and adaptability matter more.
- Strong judgment under pressure: You can manage competing priorities, make decisions independently, and remain composed when things get complicated.
- High ownership: You're comfortable being responsible for important outcomes and don't need someone constantly telling you what to do.
- Intellectual curiosity: You constantly ask questions, challenge assumptions, and look for ways to improve.
- What Matters More Than Your RésuméWe don't believe exceptional talent always follows a traditional career path.
- You might be a seasoned social media operator who has managed dozens of accounts.
- You might be someone who built a large TikTok audience from scratch.
- You might run meme pages, fan accounts, niche communities, or content channels that consistently outperform established brands.
- Or you might be someone who has spent years obsessively studying social media and can explain its dynamics better than people who have worked in marketing for a decade.
- We want to hear from you.
- We welcome applicants of all ages and backgrounds. A college degree is not required, and prior corporate experience isn't necessary.
- What matters is how you think, what you understand, what you've accomplished, and how quickly you can learn.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
