About the role
Social Media Manager (Part-Time, 1099, Remote — U.S. Only) Digital Rx is looking for a hands-on Social Media Manager who can plan it, create it, run ads, and report on it.U.S. residents only. You must physically live in the United States and be authorized to work here without visa sponsorship. We do not work with offshore freelancers, overseas agencies, or non-U.S. subcontractors. Who we serve Digital Rx is two boutique digital marketing agencies under one roof. Digital Rx Consulting serves automotive, marine, and powersports dealerships. Digital Rx Business Solutions serves B2B manufacturers, local service businesses, and mission-driven institutions. You’ll work across both. One week you’re cutting a Reel for a boat dealer’s spring launch; the next you’re writing LinkedIn thought leadership for a national manufacturer.
What you’ll do:
- Build and manage content calendars across a varied client roster, tied to each client’s goals, seasons, and promotions
- Create your own graphics and short-form video in CapCut, Canva, and Adobe (our design team supports you, but we want someone self-sufficient)
- Schedule and publish across Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile
- Run and optimize paid social campaigns, including audience targeting and budget management
- Keep dealer content compliant with manufacturer brand guidelines and offer disclosure rules
- Manage community engagement for clients whose plans include itReport on results and turn the numbers into next month’s plan
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years in social media management, including hands-on paid social
- Agency or multi-account experience strongly preferred
- Strong design and short-form video skills
- Copy that sounds human. Generic, obviously AI-written posts aren’t what we’re after
- Dealership experience (auto, marine, or powersports) is a big plus, as is B2B or local-service work
- Organized and self-directed enough to juggle multiple client calendars remotely
