Job Description Dominion Service Company seeks a professional level HVAC technician with a minimum of 3-years experience. Primary responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and replacing light commercial HVAC equipment. While applicants must have the necessary technical ability, a strong work ethic and sense of accountability are of primary importance. We offer a strong benefit package and competitive pay. Company vehicle, uniforms, phone and tablet are provided. An ideal candidate for our position has HVAC education as well as necessary certification. $500 sign on bonus after completion of first 90 days RESPONSIBILITIESInspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs, and recommend preventive maintenanceInstalls heating and air conditioning equipment and systems to provide enhanced and/or upgraded capabilitiesPerforms routine and preventive maintenance as needed to ensure ongoing functioning of HVAC systemsRepairs heating and air conditioning systems and/or components (e.g. pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, piping, etc.)Requisitions material and supplies, calls vendors to discuss needs for parts and supplies, and recommends purchases and suppliersCoordinates with other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficientlyFollows all safety policies and proceduresCompletes any reports or logsResponds to emergency situations during or after hours to resolve immediate safety concernsDESIRED QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GED requiredGraduated from an accredited HVAC training programThree to five years of progressive and relevant experienceExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenSafety and customer service orientedAble to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as neededAble to climb ladders and work at elevated heightsAvailable for emergency on-callValid and clean driver's licenseThank you for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you.
