About the role

Leading the development and implementation of process safety initiatives, the full-time remote Process Safety Manager will oversee the prevention of catastrophic safety events, manage chemical hazards, ensure regulatory compliance, and support operational continuity across facilities handling hazardous materials.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and continuous improvement of Process Safety Management and Risk Management programs Ensure compliance with OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, and other regulatory requirements while conducting risk assessments and Process Hazard Analyses Manage incident investigations and root cause analyses to enhance safety protocols and prevent future occurrences
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical discipline Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in EHS and/or Process Safety within high-hazard industries Experience with OSHA Process Safety Management and EPA Risk Management Program regulations Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Process Safety Professional (CCPSC) are preferred Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
