About the role
Our P/E backed client is looking for their next Sr Accountant. This role is Hybrid (3 days in office) in East Cleveland. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in core accounting functions, month-end close, and financial reporting that help support the continued growth of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis, and support schedule preparation.
Execute month-end close responsibilities in a timely and organized manner.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal accounting policies, and established financial procedures while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and accountability.
Support compliance efforts through documentation of accounting processes, execution of controls, and maintenance of organized audit ready records.
Compile, analyze, and refine financial data to support management reporting.
Develop a strong working knowledge of the general ledger system and related financial tools to support efficient processing and reporting.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Required.5+ years of experience in Accounting. Strong understanding of GAAP.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and if/then, etc....Experience with ERP systems.
Salary Range:
100-110K+ Bonus DOE, Education, License, Etc...Flexible on work times, Room to grow, Tenured staff
