About Us: One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning of Seattle is a locally owned and operated HVAC company serving King and Snohomish Counties. We're part of the Authority Brands family, but we run like the small, owner-led shop we are: no private equity, no corner-cutting, no pressure selling. Our philosophy is simple. Do it right, the first time, every time. We're growing fast and adding electrical capability to support our heat pump, furnace, and air conditioning installs. We're looking for a licensed electrician who wants to help build that side of the business from the ground up.
The Role: This position has two parts: 02 Electrical Administrator. You'll serve as the company's designated Residential (02) Electrical Administrator with L&I, overseeing code compliance, permits, and inspections for our residential electrical work.02 Journeyman. You'll be in the field doing the work, primarily supporting HVAC installs.
What You'll Do: Run dedicated circuits, disconnects, and whips for heat pumps, air handlers, furnaces, and condensersPerform panel upgrades, service changes, and load calculations to support electrification projectsPull permits and coordinate L&I inspectionsTroubleshoot electrical issues on residential HVAC systems alongside our service and install teamsHelp mentor our install crew and apprentices on electrical best practicesKeep job documentation clean and complete in ServiceTitan What You Bring Current Washington 02 Residential Electrical Administrator certificate (required) Current Washington 02 Residential Specialty Electrician certificate, or 01 Journeyman (required) Solid working knowledge of the NEC and Washington amendmentsResidential service and panel experience; HVAC-related electrical experience is a big plusValid driver's license and a clean driving recordProfessional, respectful demeanor in customers' homesPride in clean, code-compliant, well-documented work What We Offer Competitive hourly pay plus administrator stipend / bonus structure 401(k) / retirement planCompany vehicle, tools, and equipmentPaid training and continuing education hours A ground-floor opportunity to help shape a growing companyAn owner who answers the phone and values doing things right Ready to Apply?
