About the role
To support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) at Scott Air Force Base, the full-time Data Analytics & Visualization Engineer will design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines while utilizing Kibana for interactive dashboards and visualizations.
Key responsibilities:
Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and usability
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and insights, translating results into actionable recommendations
Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations, effectively communicating findings to stakeholders
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a related field
Active DoD Secret Clearance and current Security+ certification
Experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for data analysis and visualization
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
