About the role

US Sales Lead – Cybersecurity Software
Location: US remote — ideally Santa Clara / Bay Area, with a preference for West Coast candidates
Base salary: $125,000–$150,000OTE: $200,000–$300,000, uncapped, plus stock options
We’re recruiting for an investment-backed cybersecurity business, part of an established wider group, to appoint its first dedicated US sales lead. The business provides cybersecurity software focused on protecting healthcare organizations, their systems and patient data. This is an opportunity to take ownership of new business growth in the US, working directly with the CEO.
The role: Your primary focus will be winning new customers. You’ll generate pipeline, develop relationships with senior security and technology leaders, and manage opportunities from initial engagement through to close. You’ll also guide a junior SDR and help establish the foundations for a larger US sales team as the business grows.
Key responsibilities: Win net-new customers and achieve your personal revenue target. Build your own pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals and partners. Engage CISOs, CIOs, CTOs and other senior decision-makers. Lead complex sales cycles, build business cases and negotiate multiyear agreements. Coach a junior SDR and establish clear prospecting priorities. Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasts. Work closely with technical, marketing and leadership colleagues to progress opportunities.
What we’re looking for: A proven track record selling cybersecurity software is essential. Evidence of winning new logos and achieving sales targets in the US.Experience managing complex deals involving multiple stakeholders. Confidence selling to senior security and technology executives. A hands-on approach to prospecting, pipeline generation and closing. The ability to coach junior colleagues, with the ambition to build a team over time. Healthcare sector experience would be useful, but is not essential. Cybersecurity sales experience is the priority.
The opportunity: Take ownership of US sales at an early stage, with investment behind the business, direct access to the CEO and scope to develop your leadership responsibilities as revenue grows. The package includes uncapped commission, stock options, health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) and paid time off. Expect approximately 15–25% domestic travel. Interested? Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
