Senior Electrical Engineer - Power

What You'll Do: Lead the design and development of electrical power distribution and process control systems for municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities. Design and specify systems related to pumps, blowers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), SCADA systems, and process control instrumentation. Develop detailed electrical engineering designs, construction documents, and technical specifications for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Conduct field investigations to evaluate existing conditions and gather critical information related to proposed system upgrades and improvements. Assist clients with troubleshooting electrical and operational issues within existing treatment and pumping systems. Provide startup, commissioning, and operational support for newly installed electrical and control systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop efficient, reliable, and maintainable solutions for complex infrastructure projects. Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure projects move forward smoothly and successfully. Apply sound engineering judgment to solve technical challenges and support critical infrastructure systems that communities depend on every day.

What You'll Need: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.5+ years of experience in the detailed design of electrical power distribution and process control systems for municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities. Professional Engineering Designation (P.E.)Hands-on experience with pumps, blowers, VFDs, SCADA systems, and process control instrumentation. Ability to work both in the office and in the field, whether that means investigating existing systems, troubleshooting operational issues, or supporting system startups.
