About the role

Position Overview: This Vice President of Corporate FP&A role sits at the center of firmwide financial planning, owning the forecast, annual budget, and long-range plan. As a trusted partner to the CFO and senior management, you will translate complex data into the insights that guide strategic decisions. Success here calls for sharp financial judgment, a polished executive presence, and proven team leadership. The role offers direct visibility into firmwide performance, growth initiatives, and the quarterly earnings cycle.
Key Responsibilities: Set the direction for the firmwide forecast, annual budget, and long-range planning cycles. Advise the CFO and senior leadership on firmwide performance, growth initiatives, new businesses, and other top strategic priorities. Deliver sharp, data-driven reporting to senior management that explains results, outlook, key drivers, risks, and opportunities. Play a leading role in quarterly earnings, from segment reviews, forecast updates, and variance analysis to executive materials and work with Investor Relations. Design financial models and scenario analyses that show how business activity and assets under management flow through to revenues, expenses, and earnings. Bring rigor to operating metrics such as fundraising, deployment, realizations, assets under management, and other KPIs, working with Finance leaders across groups to raise transparency, consistency, and accountability. Strengthen controls, data quality, and reporting through standardization and automation, while coaching team members to produce accurate, executive-ready work.
Qualifications: 10+ years in financial planning and analysis, management reporting, corporate finance, or a closely related field. Alternative asset management experience is a plus but not required. Hands-on leadership of complex forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, management reporting, or public-company reporting processes, with clear accountability for results. A track record of managing and growing finance professionals, delegating with confidence while keeping strong oversight. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar discipline. A CPA, CFA, or advanced degree is preferred. Strong analytical instincts and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a knack for pinpointing what drives results, testing assumptions, and linking details to the bigger business picture. A clear, compelling communicator, in writing and in person, who can walk senior executives through complex issues and land on actionable recommendations. Integrity, sound judgment, and discretion with confidential, market-sensitive information, along with the organization and composure to juggle competing priorities on tight deadlines while keeping quality high.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
