About the role

Seeking a VP of Corporate Development to join a lean M&A team at an industrials and services company. This individual will play a hands-on role in driving the company's inorganic growth strategy, with responsibility for identifying acquisition opportunities, building a pipeline of targets, leading transactions from origination through closing, and overseeing post-acquisition integration.
Ideal Candidate Profile: 10+ years of experience across corporate development, investment banking, transaction advisory, and/or private equity investing, with a strong track record of executing M&A transactions. Demonstrated end-to-end deal experience, including target identification, financial modeling and valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, and transaction execution. Ability to independently source and originate acquisition opportunities, develop relationships with business owners and intermediaries, and build a sustainable M&A pipeline. Experience managing post-close integration and partnering with operational leadership to capture synergies, improve performance, and drive value creation. Proven ability to manage deal teams, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and influence senior leadership in a lean, hands-on environment.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
