Position Overview:
This dual‐role leadership position is responsible for overseeing both clinical and administrative operations of our hospice program. As the Administrator / DON, you will guide a committed interdisciplinary team, ensure regulatory compliance, and ensure the highest quality of care is delivered consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day‐to‐day hospice operations and clinical management
- Supervise and support nursing and interdisciplinary care staff
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
- Oversee QA/QI programs and maintain accreditation standards
- Manage budgets, staffing, and operational planning
- Build strong relationships with physicians, referral sources, patients, and families
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas
- Minimum 3–5 years of hospice leadership experience
- Deep understanding of Medicare/Medicaid hospice regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsxmcpwfu
