About the role

We're investing heavily in a new product area: browser automation and document intelligence. You'll own this platform end-to-end ? from architecture through shipping. This is not a maintenance role. It's 80% net-new build, with the chance to put your fingerprints on a product line that's already live with customers and growing fast. You'll report directly to the CEO (we're flat), work closely with product and forward-deployed engineering, and selectively join customer calls when you're the subject-matter expert on something you've built. WHAT YOU'LL BUILDOwn the browser automation and document intelligence platform from the ground upBuild and ship AI agents that handle complex insurance workflows across voice, chat, email, and SMSWrite production-grade TypeScript/React/Node.js ? first PR to production in week one Work cross-functionally with product and forward-deployed engineering teams Join customer calls to demo features you've built and advise on technical implementation Shape architecture and tooling decisions as one of the earliest engineers at a company scaling fast Help define engineering best practices as we grow toward 30 people by end of yearWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Experience4?8 years of full-stack engineering experience, with clear ownership and progression The profile that fits best: someone already performing at a senior level, ready to make the jump to full end-to-end ownership and responsibility Strong foundation from a reputable tech company or well-known startup ? we value quality of experience over years Proven ability to ship AI or LLM-based products in production ? this is non-negotiable Technical Skills Proficient in a modern language; willingness to work in TypeScript/React/Node.js/Express (our stack) Hands‑on experience building or integrating LLM-based systems, agents, or AI workflows PostgreSQL or similar relational database experienceAWS or cloud infrastructure experience is a plus, not a requirement Academic BackgroundGPA 3.7+ preferred for candidates earlier in career ? we may request a transcript School prestige matters less than how you performed there; what we want to see is that you've pushed yourself
Who You Are:
  • You want ownership ? not a ticket queue, not a committee. You want to build and see it land with real customers
  • You're comfortable being customer-facing and can speak credibly to technical decisions you've made
  • You thrive in a high-intensity environment and want to be part of building something from early inningsTECH STACK
TypeScriptReactNode.js / Express PostgreSQLAWSWe prioritize expertise in your language of choice and the appetite to work in our stack ? we won't disqualify you for coming from a different language background.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
