Job Description:
Position is for a Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent in the Nashville Market with Thomas Constructors. A General Contractor in the Nashville, TN and Huntsville, AL Markets
Position Details:
TC is looking for a candidate that shares the values imbodied in our mission statement. "Impact the world by creating exceptional environments and lasting relationships that value people at every level; putting God, Family, and community first."Responsibilities:
- Oversee some aspects of a large construction project from planning to implementation
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Work with the Project team to maintain and update the project schedule
- Responsibility to keep the jobsite clean and safe
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Willingness to work hard and even non-business hours if the project requires
Currently this position will not travel. Employee will currently stay local to the middle Tennessee area.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2-5 years of commercial construction field experience in ground-up and/or interior finish-out/renovation
- Must been a good communicator
- Must be willing to be trained/mentored for a period of time
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
