Our client, a multi-billion dollar global manufacturer, is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Engineer to join their US Headquarters located in the greater Pittsburgh area. Lean Process Implementation : Lead the development and implementation of lean manufacturing strategies such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kanban, and Just-In-Time (JIT) practices. Minimum of 8 years of experience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement role in manufacturing industries including automotive, aerospace, nuclear or energy. Certifications : Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred). knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, VSM, Kanban, JIT).
Requirements Gathering: Collect and document as-is/to-be functional and non-functional requirements using tools like RAP-type package or Top Teams. Agile Methodology: Proven experience working in Agile environments, familiarity with Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Certifications: CBAP, ECBA, PBA, CCBA, BCS. Agile Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or similar. Financial Services Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
