About the role

Compensation: Commission based with further retainer option
Sector: Private Equity / Preferred Equity / Private Capital
The Opportunity: Our client is a US private capital platform supporting bespoke fundraising mandates across private equity, preferred equity, and alternative investments. As the platform expands its capital-raising activities, we are seeking experienced fundraising professionals with established investor relationships who can independently originate, develop, and close capital commitments. This is a fully remote, performance-based opportunity, suited to commercially driven professionals seeking to monetize their existing investor relationships through substantial private capital transactions.
Key Responsibilities: Originate capital commitments from family offices, UHNW investors, RIAs, institutional investors, and private wealth networks. Lead direct investor introductions, presentations, negotiations, and fundraising processes. Identify prospective investors and match their mandates with relevant investment opportunities. Work alongside senior leadership on deal-specific fundraising strategies and execution. Build long-term investor partnerships and recurring capital-raising opportunities.
Candidate Requirements: Demonstrable track record of personally raising capital for private equity, private credit, real estate, or alternative investments. Established, active relationships with qualified investors and capital allocators. Ability to independently originate investor interest and convert opportunities into commitments. Strong commercial judgment, investor credibility, and entrepreneurial mindset. Relevant securities licensing, registration, or compliant arrangements where required.
Compensation & Working Arrangement: Success-based remuneration linked to eligible, completed capital transactions, subject to written terms and applicable regulations. Fully remote, US-focused opportunity. Flexible, independent working structure, with scope for ongoing fundraising mandates.
Please note: This is not a conventional salaried investor relations position. It is specifically designed for established capital-raising professionals seeking performance-based earning opportunities.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
