USAJob Summary: As the Medical Director, Immunology, you will partner with senior medical leadership to shape immunology medical strategies. You will own end‑to‑end medical oversight for clinical programs and new indication expansions, lead protocol design, clinical study report review, and support new project evaluation & portfolio assessment. This role includes people management of the medical team and stakeholder engagement with both internal cross‑functional teams and external KOLs.
Key Responsibilities: Support senior leadership to develop and execute immunology therapeutic‑area medical development strategies, aligned with corporate global and local business objectives. Provide end‑to‑end medical leadership for clinical studies and new‑indication registration projects; oversee overall medical delivery of these clinical programs. Lead clinical study protocol development, contribute to clinical trial design, and review clinical study reports (CSR) and key clinical documents for assigned assets. Provide medical expertise for clinical project initiation, regulatory submission preparation, and cross‑functional medical support throughout the clinical trial lifecycle. Conduct forward‑looking medical landscape research; organize and lead assessment for potential new projects to inform internal portfolio prioritization and project go‑/no‑go decisions. Manage direct‑report team members: deliver day‑to‑day people management, performance coaching, objective setting and talent development for the medical team. Build and maintain high‑quality relationships with internal cross‑functional partners, external key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators and other relevant stakeholders. Ensure all medical activities are conducted in full compliance with relevant local and global codes, regulations and SOPs.
Required Qualifications: MD/PhD10+ years pharma industry experience Strong clinical scientific judgment, project prioritization skills, excellent cross‑functional communication and stakeholder‑influencing capability.
