About the role
Overview
In this role you drive the Cardiology BI data strategy and oversee a Snowflake-based data platform, leading a team of Data Product Managers and Analysts to deliver scalable, high-quality data products and self-service analytics. You collaborate with IT, Sales Operations, Marketing, and business leadership to align analytics with evolving needs and enable advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases. This position focuses on enabling data-driven commercial excellence and data velocity at scale. You’ll influence technology investments and guide multi-year platform evolution with a strong emphasis on governance and impact.
Responsibilities Strategically shape the Cardiology BI data strategy and align Snowflake development with business priorities Identify and champion innovative technologies and automation to boost data velocity and scalability Influence IT and enterprise stakeholders to invest in data capabilities supporting forecasting, segmentation, and advanced analytics Lead long-term planning for data platform evolution to support analytics maturity and AI readiness Design and oversee change management for major data initiatives Oversee the data product lifecycle from requirements to delivery in collaboration with engineering Define and manage the data product portfolio ensuring alignment with business needs Ensure data products support dashboards, reporting, and advanced analytics including AI/MLEstablish data quality, metadata standards, and lineage transparency Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Data Product Managers and Analysts Create an inclusive environment and clearly define roles and career pathways Build cross-functional partnerships to harmonize data definitions and prioritize enhancements Communicate roadmap progress, dependencies, and risks to executives Ensure Snowflake platform performance, availability, cost, and security in partnership with ITSet KPIs and SLAs for data reliability, latency, adoption, and product performance Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across the data ecosystem
Key requirements 8+ years in commercial analytics, data product leadership, or data management in healthcare or life sciences Experience managing Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses Strong understanding of sales operations data and CRM systems (Salesforce/Veeva) and syndicated market data sources (IQVIA, Symphony, DRG/Clarivate)Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and developing high-performing teamsleadershipstakeholder managementcollaboration SnowflakeCRM systems (Salesforce/Veeva)syndicated market data sources (IQVIA, Symphony, DRG/Clarivate)
