About the role

About AimBot MediaAimBot Media is an AI-powered advertising technology company connecting brands and agencies with audiences across the gaming ecosystem. Through proprietary audience insights, advanced targeting, and AI-driven campaign planning and execution, AimBot enables advertisers to discover, buy, and activate campaigns across in-game, in-app, web, and other gaming environments. We're making gaming advertising more accessible, measurable, and scalable.
About the Role: We're looking for a Sales Engineering Manager to manage technical partner relationships, design integration solutions, and oversee the implementation of AimBot's advertising technology. This role combines engineering expertise with partner management, serving as the technical bridge between external partners and AimBot's internal teams. You'll work directly with advertising partners to understand technical requirements, design custom solutions, and manage integrations from initial scoping through launch and ongoing support. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of AdTech, particularly OpenRTB and ad-serving integrations, along with excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary technical contact for advertising partners, publishers, and technology providers. Design new technical components, APIs, and custom integration solutions to support partner requirements. Manage partner onboarding and technical integrations from initial scoping through testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization. Implement and troubleshoot OpenRTB, ad tags, ad servers, APIs, and other advertising technologies. Coordinate technical requirements, development priorities, and implementation timelines between partners and internal engineering teams. Support commercial teams with technical discovery, feasibility assessments, and solution design. Diagnose and resolve integration challenges, ad-delivery issues, and technical discrepancies. Develop technical documentation and improve partner onboarding and integration processes.
Qualifications
Required: 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, technical account management, or AdTech integrations. Strong understanding of digital advertising technology, including ad servers and programmatic advertising. Working knowledge of OpenRTB (oRTB), ad tags, and ad-serving integration methods is essential. Experience implementing and troubleshooting advertising technology integrations. Technical proficiency with APIs, HTTP, JSON, JavaScript, and web-based integrations. Ability to collaborate directly with engineers and translate technical requirements into actionable solutions. Strong project management, communication, and partner relationship skills. Ability to independently manage multiple technical partnerships and integration projects.
Preferred: Experience with DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, and publisher ad-serving platforms. Familiarity with VAST, Prebid.js, Google Ad Manager, and related advertising technologies. Experience designing custom integration components, SDKs, or APIs. Knowledge of SQL, database queries, and advertising data analysis. Experience with gaming, mobile advertising, or rewarded video integrations. Why Join AimBot? AimBot is a well-funded, early-stage startup building the next generation of gaming advertising technology. You'll join an experienced team with the resources and ambition to scale, while working at the intersection of technology and commercial partnerships, designing innovative solutions, and building the technical relationships that will help shape the company's future.
Compensation & Benefits: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000–$150,000 annually, plus eligibility to participate in AimBot Media's Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP). Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, seniority, and geographic location. Stock option grants are subject to approval and the terms of the ESOP.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
