Position
Overview:
AstheHeadofCybersecurityandSecOps, youwillserveasboththeexecutiveleaderofour SecurityOperationsfunctionandtheprimarycybersecuritysubjectmatterexpertforourclientsandprospectivecustomers. Thisisahighlycustomer-facingrole, requiringregularengagementwithexecutivestakeholderstoprovidestrategicguidance, risk-basedrecommendations, andcleararticulationofcomplexsecurityconcepts.
Youwillleadandmatureour:
SecurityOperationsteamwhileactingasthetrustedauthorityonallmattersrelatedtocybersecurity, threatmanagement, andcomplianceacrossclientenvironments. Theroleisresponsibleforshapingsecuritystrategy, strengtheningdefensivecapabilities, andensuringmeasurableriskreduction-whilerepresentingthecompanyinclientbriefings, salespursuits, assessments, andongoingadvisoryengagements. Successinthisrolerequiresdeeptechnicalexpertise, strongexecutivecommunicationskills, andtheabilitytotranslatecybersecurityintobusinessoutcomesforcustomers. KeyResponsibilities:
Security:
OperationsLeadership: Lead, mentor, andmanageateamofsecurityprofessionalsresponsibleformaintainingandcontinuouslyimprovingthesecuritypostureofclientITenvironments, whileservingastheexecutiveescalationpointforcustomer-facingsecurityoperationsmatters.
Client:
Engagement: Serveastheprimarycybersecurityadvisorandtrustedpartnerforclientsandprospectivecustomers. Engagedirectlyinexecutivebriefings, securityreviews, salespursuits, andstrategicplanningsessions, providingguidance, handlingescalations, andproactivelyaddressingclientconcerns.
Strategic:
Planning: Develop, articulate, andexecuteacomprehensivesecurityoperationsstrategyalignedwithcompanyobjectivesandclientriskprofiles. Regularlycommunicatethisstrategytoclientsandinternalstakeholders, refiningittoaddressevolvingthreats, technologies, andbusinessrequirements.
Security:
FrameworkandCompliance: Actastheprimarysubjectmatterexpertforcybersecurityframeworks, controls, andcompliancerequirements. Ensuresecuritypolicies, procedures, andstandardsalignwithindustrybestpractices, regulatorymandates, andclient-specificcomplianceobligations, andclearlytranslatetheserequirementstocustomersinanunderstandable, business-focusedmanner.
Incident:
Response: Ownincidentresponseplanningandexecution, leadinginvestigationsandservingastheprimarycustomer-facingauthorityduringsecurityincidents. Provideclear, timelycommunicationtoclients, includingimpactassessment, remediationactions, andpost-incidentrecommendations.
Security:
TechnologyIntegration: Evaluate, recommend, andoverseetheimplementationofsecuritytoolsandplatforms-includingSIEM, SOAR, SASE, IDS/IPS, EDR, andrelatedtechnologies-whileactingasthetrustedadvisortoclientsonsecurityarchitecturedecisionsandtechnologyroadmaps.
Risk:
AssessmentandMitigation: Leadclient-facingriskassessmentstoidentifythreats, vulnerabilities, andgaps. Developpragmatic, prioritizedmitigationstrategiesandcommunicateriskinbusinesstermstosupportinformeddecision-makingbyclientexecutives.
Security:
MetricsandReporting: Defineandmaintainmeaningfulsecuritymetrics, dashboards, andreportsthatdemonstrateoperationaleffectiveness, riskreduction, andcomplianceposture. Presentfindingstoseniorleadershipandclientstakeholderswithclarityandconfidence.
Team
Development: Buildandsustainahigh-performing
SecurityOperationsteambyfosteringacultureofcontinuouslearning, accountability, andcustomer-centricservicedelivery, ensuringtheteamisequippedtosupportbothtechnicalexcellenceandexceptionalclientengagement.
Qualifications:
Proventechnicalproficiencyinconfiguringandmanagingenterprise-gradesecuritytools(e.g., Sentinel, Crowdstrike, Fortinet, Huntress).Deepexperienceinincidentresponse, digitalforensics, loganalysis, andmalwarecontainmentinhigh-pressurescenarios.
Bachelor'sdegreein:
InformationSecurity, Cybersecurity, orarelatedfield. Aminimumof3-5yearsofexperienceincybersecurityandITservices. Provenexperienceinaleadershiprole, managingsecurityoperationsoraSOCteam. Relevantcertifications(e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH)arehighlydesirable. Strongunderstandingofcybersecurityprinciples, technologies, andbestpractices. Exceptionalproblem-solvinganddecision-makingskills. Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalabilities. Atrackrecordofsuccessfulclientengagementandrelationshipbuilding.
