About the role
Territory Sales Manager (North East) – Metals Full-time | Territory-based | Up to 80% travel We’re working with a global technology business specialising in advanced sorting and separation solutions for the waste and recycling industry. The business is continuing to grow its presence across the North American metals market and is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join the team. This is a highly autonomous, customer-facing role focused on developing new business, growing existing accounts and taking opportunities through the full sales cycle.
The Role:
You’ll take ownership of an assigned territory, building relationships with customers and developing new opportunities across the metals market.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing territory sales strategies Identifying new prospects and generating a strong sales pipeline Managing opportunities from initial prospecting through to close Negotiating commercial terms and developing long-term customer relationships Maintaining accurate sales activity and forecasting Becoming a technical subject matter expert across the company's processing and separation technologies What are we looking for? Commercially driven sales professionals who can combine technical understanding with strong business development skills. Ideally, you’ll have: Experience within the metals market or metals processing applicationsA background in industrial equipment, recycling, separation technology or a related sector Proven experience developing new business and managing complex sales processes Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills The ability to manage a territory independently and work towards revenue targets Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM would be advantageous Why Consider It?
