Position Overview First year potential $70k - $120k based on performance. Schedule: Monday through Friday with occasional after‐hours and rotating every other Saturday. Hours: first appointment at 9 am, last at 5 pm. This role requires a 5–7 year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review, drug screening, physical performance evaluation, and completion of the E‐Verify (I‐9) program. Must hold a valid driver's license issued at least five years prior to the application date. ABC Home & Commercial Services is a family‐owned, 75‐year‐old company serving Central and South Texas with over 1,000 employees. We are looking for a Water Quality Sales Specialist to join our team. What You'll Do Generate new leads by attending trade shows, networking events, and using other sources that increase potential sales accounts. Meet with current clients for new sales and up‐sales, respond to incoming leads promptly, and advise on water treatment options. Advise clients on water quality services including but not limited to planting, water softeners, whole‐home filtration systems, drinking‐water systems, and well‐water treatments. Spend the majority of the time outside the office to meet with existing clients and prospect customers. Gain specialized knowledge of all Water Quality services, discounts, and promotions provided by ABC by product and season. Create sales agreements; complete and submit all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. Consistently follow through with all proposals; provide clarification as necessary; negotiate prices; meet monthly sales quotas set by the Division Manager and the company. Maintain a professional attitude at all times with customers, fellow employees, and supervisors. Qualifications Any in‐home sales experience is a plus (e.g., remodel, flooring, window, bathroom renovations). Minimum 1 year of sales experience or experience in the water softener industry. Background knowledge of water softener and water quality services is helpful; training is available. Must hold a valid driver's license issued at least five years prior to the application date. Previous outside sales experience is preferred. Strong presentation skills and outstanding phone etiquette are required. Ability to listen and understand client concerns; excellent interpersonal and written skills. Ability to manage long schedules during peak season; time‐management skills are required. Ability to build new business relationships and develop communications with existing clients. Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, smartphone, tablet, and computers. Ability to work inside and/or outside for long periods, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
