Experience: 5+ years of construction safety experience (data center experience highly preferred)
Job Overview: The Safety Manager leads and oversees project safety programs to ensure a safe, compliant work environment. This role may support a single large project, multiple projects, or a defined operational area and typically reports to a Regional Safety Leader. As a subject matter expert, the Safety Manager provides independent technical safety guidance to project leadership while supporting broader organizational safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct daily safety audits and provide corrective recommendations Communicate effectively with project teams and field leadership Prepare safety reports, lead safety meetings, and address site concerns Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Ensure compliance with all regulatory and client safety requirements Oversee safety training, documentation, and record-keeping Develop and implement site-specific safety plans Support project start-ups, look-ahead planning, and emergency preparedness Serve as a trusted advisor to management and client representatives
