- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field 7+ years of progressive experience in generation interconnection, transmission planning, or transmission services development
- Deep knowledge of PJM, NYISO, and/or ISO-NE interconnection protocols, tariff provisions, and study methodologies
- Direct experience managing interconnection applications, queue positions, and agreement negotiations within one or more Northeast RTOsProven ability to review, validate, and interpret interconnection study results, network upgrade requirements, and cost allocation
- Strong understanding of NERC reliability standards and their application to generator interconnection
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
- Technical Skills Proficiency with power system modeling and analysis tools: PSS/E, PowerGEM TARA, ASPEN, PowerWorldExpertise in steady-state thermal/voltage analysis, short-circuit analysis, and transient stability
- Experience with transmission injection studies, feasibility screening, and prospecting analytics
- Familiarity with programming or automation approaches to streamline study workflows
