Recycling Associate
Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (1st Shift), Monday through Friday, overtime as required. Overtime Hours: 48 Hrs/Week 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday & Friday 7:00am-3:00pmPay starts at $13-$14 per hour Rain or shine, we guarantee 40 hours per week! As a machine assistant at Southeastern Paperboard, Inc., you will be responsible for the following: Load and Unload conveyor belts with loose or shredded paper/cardboard. Learn material paper grades. Sort and organize paper grades. Operate in a safe and productive manner. Work with maintenance to improve machine reliability.
Qualifications: Previous experience in manufacturing, landscaping, or construction is preferred. You must be able to work in a climate-controlled environment that is warm in the summer months and comfortable during cooler weather. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable working in an environment that can become very dusty. You should be able to lift between 50 and 75 pounds, repeatedly, without assistance. Must be able to stand, walk, twist and bend, carry, reach or work at/over the shoulder; bend, climb, push, and pull continuously to complete job tasks.
