The Role: The medical provider performs telemedicine consults through our HIPAA-compliant video interface; MD, DO, NP, PA, and ND candidates are welcome. Our core competencies include cardiometabolic health (insulin/glucose regulation, MAFLD/MASLD), lipid management and ASCVD prevention, blood pressure control, gut health, adrenal and thyroid optimization, performance and longevity medicine, women's health (BHRT, PMS/PMDD, PCOS, birth control), men's health (testosterone optimization, TRT), medical weight loss, cognitive performance, hair loss prevention, cosmetic anti-aging, and targeted diet, exercise, sleep, and supplementation protocols.
What you'll do: Perform telemedicine consultations through our HIPAA-compliant video interface. Review lab results with patients and staff to provide tailored treatment options and recommendations. Perform assessments, screenings, and diagnoses, and prescribe medication when appropriate. Educate patients on medications and treatment plans, and complete daily reconciliation of prescribed plans. Collaborate with health coaches in real time and asynchronously as part of a unified care team. Share feedback with leadership on operations, and implement best practices and new training to improve the patient experience. Remain HIPAA compliant and represent Marek Health professionally in every interaction. What you bringQualificationsActive, good-standing license as an MD, DO, NP, PA, or ND, plus an unrestricted DEA license. Availability of at least 10 hours per week for consultations on our telemedicine platform. Experience with hormone replacement therapy and building individualized treatment plans. Detailed knowledge of pharmaceutical products, peptides, and supplements related to our core competencies, staying current on new products and regulatory changes. Experience with digital technology, digital patient files, and video consultations. Excellent communication skills with leadership, patients, and fellow clinicians. CharacterBuilds trusting relationships that help patients make informed decisions about their care. Exemplary work ethic, and well-presented in both physical and virtual settings. Collaborative and open to new ideas, with a candid, constructive communication style. Honest about experience and skills, with an overriding commitment to quality patient care.
