About the role
- Maintenance & Repair Operations
- Perform general property maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, lighting, locks, and general building systems
- Respond to maintenance requests from residents and property management staff
- Assist with apartment turns to ensure move-in readiness and quality standards
- Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with established schedules and guidelines
- Conduct exterior maintenance, including roofs, parking areas, garages, pools, and recreational areas (as applicable)
- Support grounds maintenance activities, including snow removal and trash pickup
- Safety, Compliance & Coordination
- Follow all company, local, state, and federal safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate inspections with fire, police, utility, or regulatory inspectors as needed
- Maintain a safe work environment and report hazards or concerns promptly
- Administrative & Support Duties
- Complete required documentation and logs, including preventive maintenance and safety records
- Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
- Monitor and assist with maintenance supply inventory as directed
- Schedule or coordinate vendor services when assigned
- Attend staff meetings and required training sessions
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and company information
- Provide a high level of customer service to residents and coworkers
- Remain flexible and adaptable to changing operational needs
- Perform other maintenance duties and special projects as assigned
