Education: Associate degree or combination of 13 years of relevant work experience and education in accounting, finance, economics, or mathematics Experience: At least 2 years of investment and retirement plan experience Licenses: FINRA Series 7 and 63 ; NY Life Accident and Health License Systems: CRM systems, retirement plan recordkeeping platforms, Microsoft Office/Excel; Envestnet experience is a plus Our client is seeking a Retirement Plan Associate to provide exceptional client service and advisor support while helping ensure efficient and organized investment and retirement plan operations. This role serves as a key liaison between financial advisors, retirement plan sponsors, participants, clients, custodians, recordkeepers, and service providers. Responsibilities of the Retirement Plan Associate will include: Foster strong client relationships and deliver a positive, concierge-style client experience. Process investment transactions, take client trade orders, and execute trades. Initiate money movements and open new accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for retirement plan clients. Support retirement plan onboarding, conversions, and implementation. Coordinate with recordkeepers, third-party administrators (TPAs), custodians, and other service providers to ensure timely and accurate plan administration. Maintain client records and documentation in accordance with firm and regulatory standards. Coordinate employee education meetings, enrollment campaigns, and financial wellness programs. Support participant service requests and direct participants to appropriate resources. Prepare materials for annual plan reviews and fiduciary committee meetings. Meet regularly with internal team members to review and manage open cases. Take on additional projects as assigned. Qualifications for the role of Retirement Plan Associate: Minimum of an Associate degree, or a combination of 13 years of relevant experience and education with a concentration in accounting, finance, economics, or mathematics.2+ years of investment and retirement plan experience required. Experience with CRM systems and retirement plan recordkeeping platforms. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple tasks and projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships at all organizational levels. Ability to work independently and as part of a team while taking initiative. Commitment to professional and ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality. FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses and NY Life Accident and Health License. Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Report-writing experience required; familiarity with the Envestnet Trading platform is a plus.
