About the role
Wastewater Treatment Technician Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Wastewater Treatment process in accordance with all applicable and permit requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in waste water treatment or a related field.
Experience in operating and maintaining waste water treatment systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in a similar role within the waste water industry.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal waste water regulations.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and operate waste water treatment equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of treatment facilities and equipment.
Collect and analyze water samples to assess quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in the waste water treatment process.
Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and water quality data.
