About the role

Associate Director, Program Budget Delivery LeadThe Associate Director, Program Budget Delivery Lead is a content-level leadership role embedded within Program & Portfolio Operations (PPO), created to accelerate the consistent, decision-ready delivery of Program Budgets — one of the most critical Strategic Program Team (SPT) deliverables that translate program vision into an actionable, resourced, and costed plan. Deployed selectively alongside SPTs, this role partners directly with the Development Program Manager (DPM) and Program Finance to co-develop key strategic planning deliverables, bringing the drug-development and financial acumen needed to elevate portfolio-level signal and support confident investment decisions. This role builds strong, trusted relationships at all levels of the organization, provides content-level leadership that improves consistency and comparability of SPT deliverables, and facilitates decision-making across Development, Research, Commercial, and Manufacturing. Over time, the role is expected to extend its expertise to future high-judgment SPT deliverables while contributing to longer-term capability building across the organization. Location and Travel:

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
