Senior IT Network Infrastructure & Private 5G Deployment Specialist⚠️ You must be legally authorized to work in the USA ⚠️ ⚠️ On-site: Mobile, Alabama, USA ⚠️⚠️ This is a 6 months contract renewable ⚠️Infotel is looking for a Senior IT Network Infrastructure & Private 5G Deployment Specialist to join is Connectivity team for North America. The role is based In Mobile Alabama USA.
What you'll do: Lead fiber and copper cabling projects across plants, hangars and data centers Oversee MDF/IDF layouts, racks and redundant network pathways Enforce quality control: OTDR testing, loss budgets, copper certification and labeling Deploy and support Private 5G, CBRS, small cells and DASValidate 5G readiness: eCPRI/CPRI fronthaul, PoE++, MEC and radio unit placement Handle Tier 2/3 troubleshooting of radio nodes and fronthaul links Manage CAPEX/OPEX budgets, subcontractors and low-voltage crews Keep port maps, rack elevations and cable paths up to date in the CMDBWhat you bring Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or Computer Science, or equivalent field experience 5+ years leading structured cabling and fiber deployments in data center or industrial environments Hands-on experience with Private 5G/LTE, small cells or DASExperience with fiber test equipment: OTDR, power meters and VFLSolid knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs and switching Experience leading vendors and managing budgets Strong communication skills in English Details Full-time, 6 months contract Up to 25% travel across North American sites
