Role Description:
The Licensed Esthetician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Edinburg, TX. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing professional skin care treatments, such as facials, peels, and other aesthetic services, in alignment with practice protocols and safety standards. The esthetician will conduct client consultations, assess skin conditions, recommend appropriate treatments and home-care regimens, and maintain detailed treatment documentation. The role also involves educating patients on procedures and products, supporting pre- and post-procedure care, and coordinating with the clinical and surgical teams to ensure a seamless patient experience. Additional duties may include assisting with in-office events, maintaining treatment rooms and equipment, and contributing to practice growth through patient engagement and product or service recommendations.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in Skin Care services, including facials, peels, and related aesthetic treatments. Proficiency in Hair Removal techniques (e.g., waxing, laser or other approved modalities), with attention to safety and patient comfort. Background in Cosmetology or aesthetics, with strong knowledge of skin health, products, and basic cosmetic procedures. Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build rapport, communicate clearly, and provide a welcoming, professional patient experience. Sales skills for recommending appropriate products, services, and treatment plans aligned with patient needs and practice standards. Current Texas esthetician license (or eligibility to obtain), and adherence to all state and practice regulations. Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical and surgical environment, following established protocols and maintaining confidentiality. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail in documentation, scheduling, and treatment-room maintenance. Previous experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting is preferred but not required.
