About the role

Nokia is seeking an ASIC Operations Engineer to enhance the production of ASIC products through collaboration with design teams and OSAT partners. The role focuses on improving manufacturing efficiencies, yield optimization, and ensuring product quality and timely delivery in the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities: Interface with the ASIC design team to deliver ASIC products into production using OSAT partners. Monitor and improve ASIC yields while driving closure of manufacturing incidents. Drive manufacturing efficiencies to maximize ASIC output. Work with foundries and OSAT vendors to ensure product quality and on-time delivery. Analyze statistical test data to identify manufacturing limiters, wafer anomalies, or particle contamination. Perform failure analysis on defective processes to isolate process or design flaws. Collaborate with process, equipment, and design engineers to implement solutions for production line improvements. Partner with physical design teams pre-tapeout to review layouts for maximizing wafer utilization. Create and maintain specifications, process documentation, and best-known methods.
Qualifications: Minimum B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related semiconductor field.
Skills: Proficiency in statistical data analysis and automated test equipment (ATE) logs. Experience with Wafer Grind and Dice, SQL, and SAP.Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, fabless supply chains, and wafer sort/final test protocols.
