Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Provide responsive support to EHR users across Local Health Districts.- Triage, troubleshoot, and escalate issues appropriately.- Monitor and maintain key EHR workflows, processes, and procedures.- Engage with stakeholders to understand operational needs, evaluate current EHR capabilities, identify gaps, and recommend effective alternative solutions.- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements.- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and other Agile documentation as needed.- Support functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical, clinical, and business teams.- Produce clear user documentation, job aids, and training materials.
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience providing application support, preferably in healthcare environments.- Strong skills in requirements documentation and enhancement analysis.- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.- Understanding of clinical, pharmaceutical, and patient billing workflows.- Experience participating in structured testing cycles.- Proficiency with MS Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Visio.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting or implementing EHR systems.- Knowledge of Oracle Health / Cerner platforms and public health workflows.- Experience with SQL, Oracle databases, or web application environments.- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and documentation practices.
