Field Operator The Field Operator sets up and operates field systems, connects and monitors equipment, and ensures safe and efficient handling of oil and gas operations. This role involves working with generators, pumps, and hoses while tracking gas readings and meters to maintain safe operating conditions.
Responsibilities:
Set up field systems and related equipment according to project specifications and safety procedures. Connect hoses to generators, pumps, and other field equipment to support oil and gas operations. Monitor and track gas readings and meters to ensure safe and efficient operation. Inspect equipment and connections regularly to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning. Follow established safety protocols and regulatory requirements while performing all tasks. Support field operations during both day and night shifts as required by project schedules. Travel to various job sites and remain on assignment for extended periods, as needed for project completion.
Essential Skills:
Valid TWIC Card. RSO certification. Experience or familiarity with oil and gas field operations. Mechanical aptitude to work with generators, pumps, hoses, and related equipment. Ability to read and track gas readings and meters accurately. Commitment to following safety procedures and regulatory guidelines. Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work extended shifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
SE-CS Confined Space certification. SE-SAFE Safety Essentials certification. Additional safety or technical certifications related to industrial or field operations. Work Environment:
The role is field-based and requires frequent travel to various job sites. Employees may be away from home for up to 30 days at a time and must be prepared to work either day or night shifts depending on project needs. Turnarounds typically involve 12-hour shifts, commonly from 6 AM to 6 PM, and schedules are often communicated the afternoon before. The work environment is industrial and dynamic, with a focus on safety and adherence to procedures while working around oil and gas equipment, generators, pumps, and related systems. Job Type &

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
