About the role

Overview: We are seeking an IT Clinical Informatics Analyst with hands-on Matrix Care experience to support and optimize EHR workflows across the organization. This role serves as the primary liaison between clinical, operational, compliance, training, and IT teams, helping ensure effective use of Matrix Care and consistent clinical documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities: Act as the subject matter expert for related clinical workflows. Support system configuration, enhancements, upgrades, testing, reporting, and end-user support. Partner with clinical, operational, compliance, and IT teams to improve workflows and system adoption. Troubleshoot escalated application issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors. Assist with implementations, go-lives, training, data validation, reporting, and change management activities. Promote standardization, data quality, and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
Requirements: Hands-on experience supporting EHR in a clinical, informatics, training, operational, or support capacity. Strong understanding of skilled nursing, long-term care, and clinical documentation workflows. Experience with system configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, and user support. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with clinical, operational, vendor, and IT teams.
Preferred Qualifications: RN or LPN licensure. Experience supporting Matrix Care in skilled nursing, long-term care, senior living, or multi-facility healthcare environments. Experience with EHR implementations, upgrades, and end-user training.
