What We're Looking For?
- Experience with fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of OTDR testing, bonding/grounding, and fiber documentation
- Ability to read and follow engineering blueprints
- Physical ability to bend, climb, lift (up to 80 lbs), and work in tight spaces
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and commitment to quality and safety
What You'll Do:
- Splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables to deliver high-performance connectivity
- Perform OTDR testing to verify splices, identify loss points, and ensure network integrity
- Interpret blueprints and splice diagrams to complete projects accurately and efficiently
- Troubleshoot and repair fiber issues to keep customers connected
- Create and maintain as-built documentation and daily production reports
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project goals
- Engage with property owners and residents professionally while on site
