About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Pharmacovigilance Vendor Manager to support Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance operations through vendor oversight, contract management, and regulatory compliance. This role will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective management of safety-related vendors and adherence to Pharmacovigilance Agreements (PVAs) and applicable requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and monitor vendor contracts and Pharmacovigilance Agreements (PVAs) supporting patient safety programs and suppliers. Oversee safety information reconciliation and quality control activities to ensure compliance with PVA requirements. Partner with Patient Safety, Quality Assurance, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and external business partners. Investigate delayed safety reports and support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions (CAPA).Support audit and inspection readiness, pharmacovigilance SOP maintenance, and regulatory compliance activities. Monitor vendor performance and support continuous improvement of safety reporting processes. Provide guidance and training related to vendor management, contractual requirements, and safety reporting procedures. Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining strong documentation and compliance standards.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Medical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant pharmacovigilance experience, or a healthcare professional qualification such as RN or R.Ph. with 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in safety reporting. Strong knowledge of FDA requirements, safety information reporting, applicable regulations, and SOPs. Hands-on experience with Pharmacovigilance Agreements (PVAs) and patient safety reporting processes. Pharmaceutical industry experience in vendor management, contract management, or alliance management is preferred. Strong project management, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
