About the role
- Supervise daily order processing operations to ensure accuracy and on-time fulfillment.
- Develop and execute daily operational plans to meet or exceed productivity and service level goals.
- Provide effective leadership, guidance, and coaching to a team of 15-20 distribution associates, ensuring consistent performance and professional growth.
- Conduct daily team meetings, performance check-ins, and support employee recognition initiatives to foster a positive and communicative work environment.
- Monitor and maintain operational reports and metrics to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Promote and enforce health and safety protocols, reinforcing a culture of safety throughout the facility.
- Adheres to 5S Standards
- Maintain compliance to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards
- Perform other job responsibilities, as necessary and/or assigned
- Skills, Abilities, and Physical Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
- Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment where the temperature is affected by weather conditions
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking abilities.
- High level of time management and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment with a strong sense of urgency.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an e-commerce distribution center.
- Experience with B2B Operations is a plus.
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment
- Degree in Business Administration/Management or related field is a plus.
